Can Dr. Holmes be my doctor?

Certainly! You can schedule with Dr. Holmes by visiting the services page or by calling 971-266-3838. Legally, you must schedule an in-person visit once per year for Dr. Holmes to be able to order labs, imaging, diagnose any conditions or prescribe specific treatments.

What if I can not travel to Portland?

Not a problem! Dr. Holmes offers 30 and 60-minute phone/video consults with people all over the world. We will chat face-to-face about diagnostic work-ups, current treatment plans, and other health related questions to help educate clients on possible next steps. Think of the information shared in these consultations as the type of conversation you might have with a close friend who is a doctor - you may ask for their input or ideas but wouldn't expect them to diagnose or prescribe medication without being seen in their clinic.

Does Dr. Holmes take insurance?

Yes! He is credentialed with many insurance companies including: Aetna, MODA, MultiPlan, Pacific Source, Providence, BlueCross, Cigna and United Healthcare. If your insurance does not fall into this category, we can provide a superbill after your appointment that can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement. Insurance cannot be billed for phone or video consultations (excpet during COVD-19)

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Missed Appointments/ Cancellations:

  • If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment, please give us 48 hours notice. For any missed appointments or less than 48-hour notice for cancellation your account will be charged $125. (Exceptions will be made for emergencies.)
  • If you are late for your appointment, your visit may be shortened and you will also be charged for the reserved time on the schedule.
  • We require a credit card on file and accounts to be paid within 90 days upon notification missed visit.

COVID-19 Updates

During COVID-19, changes have been made to accomodate insurance billing for telemedicine. Insurance can only be billed for telemedicine for patients who reside in Orgeon due to medical billing rules. In office visits will begin in the beginning of June on a case by case basis. Please contact Dr. Holmes for additional information at 971-266-3838 or info@pdxgi.com
